On behalf of the community of Legalise Cannabis Victoria, we are deeply saddened by the passing of Dr Tim Read. Tim brought compassion, integrity, experience and always humour, with a wealth of knowledge, to his work in this Parliament and the community.
He cared deeply about the people he represented, and he was not afraid to stand up for what he believed in. We collaborated on a range of campaigns, and Tim was always forthright and insightful and shared generously with his colleagues and the community.
It was a privilege to work alongside him. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues at this very sad time.
Vale, Tim Read, Renaissance man, advocate and campaigner, well loved by so many.
